Recreational Forest Reserve “Luís Paulo Camacho”

Close to the town of Santa Cruz on Flores Island, is the Luis Paulo Camacho Park. It is characterized by having a considerable botanical variety, where conifers and endemic flora stand out.
Visitors can enjoy a picnic area and see an exhibition area for exotic birds with pheasants, widows, Japanese quails, mandarins, decapitated birds, New Zealand parrots, cockatiels and various domestic birds, in addition to a fence of fallow deer.
On the tour, don't miss the viewpoint, with a superb view over the dam of Ribeira da Fazenda.
